Release Manager

Role Overview

This position is for a Release Manager based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is centered on managing the full release lifecycle and making sure production changes and project deliveries are coordinated into a single, controlled process. The focus is on protecting quality, keeping timelines on track, and ensuring resources and operational impact are carefully managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day build and release management activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align release services and delivery expectations.
• Make sure every release is reviewed, approved, planned, tested, deployed, and properly documented.
• Set up and maintain service delivery practices, including tracking metrics to support SLA compliance.
• Prioritize projects in a way that supports business goals without disrupting operations.
• Work closely with operations teams to coordinate the deployment of changes.
• Review test outcomes from development and pre-production before production launch.
• Own the end-to-end governance of release activity throughout the change lifecycle.
• Assess operational risks and suggest suitable mitigation actions.
• Prepare recurring reports and performance dashboards/metrics.
• Ensure release baseline documents, release notes, pre-deployment and post-deployment checklists, and backout plans are prepared and maintained.
• Serve as the go-live owner for releases, including coordination and communication with stakeholders.
• Support DevOps-based release management processes.
• Use JIRA and ServiceNow for release process management.

Requirements

• This opportunity is open only to Saudi nationals.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Candidates already located in Saudi Arabia are preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational qualification.

Additional Information

The role is based in Riyadh, KSA and is a full-time onsite position. It involves handling release governance, coordination, documentation, reporting, and operational readiness across the release lifecycle.
