This role offers the chance to contribute to global consulting engagements and support customer cloud consumption goals and digital transformation results.The PMO Project Manager will sit within Business Excellence - Operations and will partner with an ISD (Industry Solutions Delivery) Area Project Manager. The position supports the project delivery lifecycle for engagements in the assigned area, helping delivery managers by coordinating work and improving their customer-facing bandwidth. The role covers delivery management activities such as methods, tools, processes, financials, staffing, and operations so engagements are well structured and executed smoothly. It also provides ongoing operational support across multiple engagements.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Area Project Manager to support delivery across the assigned area.Own end-to-end project financials, monitor key metrics, manage risks and issues, and take recovery actions when needed while maintaining quality and change control throughout delivery.Improve compliance with processes, maintain strong project hygiene, ensure timely reporting, and help drive customer satisfaction.Review engagement and project setup, staffing, initiation schedules, and issue/risk handoffs from sales to delivery; build the project structure and initial financial plan.Assist with resource planning and engagement staffing needs.Set up consumption tracking, confirm subcontractor engagement setup, support recommended security practices, manage issues and risks, track status, update forecasts, and record or approve time and expenses.Drive project closure, reconcile budgets, and document lessons learned.Support the Area Project Manager with escalations related to staffing and billing processes during delivery.CompetenciesIdentify, prioritize, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues proactively.Maintain PMO governance, controls, and compliance with delivery frameworks.Support quality assurance, project hygiene, and continuous improvement.Plan resources, track utilization, and align dependencies across workstreams.Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and analytics for informed decision-making.Handle change control and coordinate dependencies across projects to resolve delivery blockers.Assist delivery management through initiation, planning, monitoring and controlling, and closure phases to keep delivery aligned with customer expectations.Track project financials, monitor spend, and help ensure efficient use of resources.Communicate regularly with the PMO Process Lead and Area Project Manager, and raise concerns related to hygiene, staffing, quality, risks, and issues.QualificationsRequiredA bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus at least 3 years of experience in project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Business impactThe role is intended to increase the Area Project Manager’s bandwidth so delivery becomes more streamlined, outcomes become more predictable, and customer issues receive more focus. The position escalates issues to the Area Project Manager, follows quality assurance standards, uses standard tools as directed, and helps maintain engagement hygiene.
