Role overview
This is a full-time site-based position with a civil construction contractor working on an infrastructure project in Brookhaven, South East Queensland. The client is known for delivering major civil works with a strong emphasis on safety, workmanship, and collaboration. The role offers an immediate start and consistent hours.
Compensation
- Flat rate of $48.70 plus travel allowance
- Immediate commencement available
Key duties
- Support the installation of stormwater, sewer, water, and drainage pipe systems
- Handle pipes and fittings by loading, unloading, and placing them in position
- Assist with trench setup, bedding preparation, and backfilling activities
- Guide excavator operators and help maintain safe pipe placement
- Help with pipe alignment and joining tasks
- Carry out general labouring tasks as directed by the crew
Required experience and qualifications
- Prior background in civil pipe laying or pipe labouring
- Valid White Card
- Confidence working safely in proximity to heavy plant and machinery
- Good physical fitness and the ability to complete manual work
- Current driver's licence and dependable transport
- Consistent attendance and a strong work commitment
