Pipe Layer Labourer

Role overview

This is a full-time site-based position with a civil construction contractor working on an infrastructure project in Brookhaven, South East Queensland. The client is known for delivering major civil works with a strong emphasis on safety, workmanship, and collaboration. The role offers an immediate start and consistent hours.

Compensation

• Flat rate of $48.70 plus travel allowance
• Immediate commencement available

Key duties

• Support the installation of stormwater, sewer, water, and drainage pipe systems
• Handle pipes and fittings by loading, unloading, and placing them in position
• Assist with trench setup, bedding preparation, and backfilling activities
• Guide excavator operators and help maintain safe pipe placement
• Help with pipe alignment and joining tasks
• Carry out general labouring tasks as directed by the crew

Required experience and qualifications

• Prior background in civil pipe laying or pipe labouring
• Valid White Card
• Confidence working safely in proximity to heavy plant and machinery
• Good physical fitness and the ability to complete manual work
• Current driver's licence and dependable transport
• Consistent attendance and a strong work commitment
