Equity Research Associate

Overview

HDFC SKY is looking for an Equity Research Associate who is genuinely interested in research and market analysis. The role calls for someone who can examine data carefully, support research work with analysis when needed, and communicate insights clearly through written reports and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the lead analyst with equity research across the Cement and Metals sectors.
• Update financial models and maintain research databases.
• Prepare written research notes, reports, and other analysis outputs.

What We’re Looking For

• A curious, analytical approach with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify patterns and connections.
• Comfort with English communication and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg.
• Solid understanding of financial metrics and analysis.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in equity research, with preference for candidates who have worked on Cement or Metals coverage.

Education and Certification

CA and/or MBA is required. CFA (USA) will be considered an added advantage.

Additional Information

The role is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time, onsite position.
