Overview
We are looking for an editor to join a short-form drama project, BUBLIK, a Russian/English psychodrama filmed in London. The footage is already captured and now needs an editor who can shape it into a strong, emotionally charged cut.
What the project needs
The assignment requires a full-time commitment through July 2. The expected outcome is a near picture-lock version of the film that is ready for pre-mix and pre-grade stages.
This is intense, performance-led material, so the ideal editor should be comfortable building tension through editing rather than relying on coverage.
Working setup
London-based applicants are preferred, but a remote or hybrid arrangement is possible.
The work is paid, with compensation based on experience.
There is also a possibility of continuing with the project through final mix and grade.
Additional note
A basic understanding of Russian would be an advantage, since the film is told in both Russian and English.
