Role Overview
The City of Farmington Hills is looking for a part-time Youth Program Worker to support its Afterschool Youth Program in Farmington, MI. This position is on-site and involves helping create a positive, supervised environment for students after school.
Start Date and Schedule
The role is expected to begin as soon as possible. Hours are approximately 10 to 20 per week, with the exact schedule arranged between the selected applicant and the Recreation Specialist. Availability is required during program hours from Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Key Duties
The worker will help manage student arrival and departure, support daily program flow, and take part in engaging after-school activities with students.
Qualifications
Applicants should be prepared to work with youth in an active program setting. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred for this role.
