Job summary
This role focuses on specialist surface-processing work for gas turbine and aero-derivative engine repair. The main duties involve thermal spray and/or GEL coating, with additional support tasks such as blasting, polishing, and heat treatment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out thermal spray and/or GEL coating operations for repair work on gas turbine and aero-derivative engines.
- Carry out assigned work according to instructions, including related activities such as blasting, polishing, and heat treatment when required.
- Maintain product quality, care for equipment, and support production pace, delivery schedules, and workplace housekeeping.
- Comply with all relevant EHS requirements and immediately report any unsafe conditions or unsafe practices.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education at Secondary level or above is required.
- NTC or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- About 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred; however, applicants without direct experience may still be considered because training on the job will be provided.
- Basic spoken and written English is needed.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts.
