About the Property
The role is based at The House Hotel Jeddah King Road in Jeddah. The property sits on the Red Sea coastline and is designed as a modern city escape that blends coastal living with contemporary hospitality. It features 129 curated rooms and a signature restaurant that serves as both a culinary attraction and a social space. Jeddah itself is one of Saudi Arabia’s most dynamic cities, known for its coastal atmosphere, cultural heritage, and modern lifestyle, with strong connectivity through King Abdulaziz International Airport.
Role Overview
The Learning & Development Executive will be responsible for building, delivering, and improving learning initiatives that support business objectives and brand standards. This includes training planning, onboarding, leadership development, LMS administration, reporting, and collaboration with department leaders and HR.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and roll out end-to-end learning and development programmes that support organisational priorities and brand expectations.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive training calendar covering technical, behavioural, and leadership topics.
- Deliver interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars for teams across the property.
- Lead the onboarding and induction process for new employees to support a strong start and effective integration.
- Work with department heads to identify training needs and develop tailored learning solutions.
- Measure the impact of training through assessments, feedback, and performance information, then improve programmes based on findings.
- Administer the Learning Management System by keeping records accurate, updating content, and encouraging employee use.
- Support leadership development and succession planning efforts in coordination with HR leadership.
- Coordinate with external trainers and vendors to ensure quality delivery and good value.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and learning insights for senior leadership review.
- Promote a workplace culture focused on continuous learning and professional development.
- Align individual development plans with performance cycles and business goals.
Requirements
- Background in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Training, or a closely related area, ideally at executive or senior level.
- Ability to work independently and lead L&D initiatives with a strategic mindset.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to manage several training projects and deadlines at the same time.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and focused on practical solutions.
- Comfortable collaborating with and influencing colleagues across departments and senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience using Learning Management Systems.
- Genuine interest in employee development and building a culture of learning.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
