Role overview
The IT Support Services Coordinator is responsible for making sure day-to-day technology support runs smoothly for end users. This position focuses on keeping IT operations efficient, resolving technical issues, and supporting staff with desktop and help desk needs. The role is based in Brisbane, Queensland, and offers a hybrid setup with some work-from-home flexibility.
Key duties
- Provide hands-on technical assistance to users when IT issues arise.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Maintain and support desktop computers and related equipment.
- Respond to help desk queries and coordinate support services.
- Help ensure IT support delivery is smooth and uninterrupted for end users.
Required background
- Practical experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
- Good working knowledge of desktop computer setup, maintenance, and support.
- Understanding of core information technology concepts and practices.
- Experience handling help desk support requests.
- Strong organization skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with varied teams.
Additional qualifications
Prior IT support experience is preferred. Certifications or formal qualifications in IT or a related discipline are considered an advantage.
Work arrangement
This is a part-time hybrid role located in Brisbane, QLD, with some flexibility to work remotely from home.
