Role overview

This role is designed for CA students who want to begin a career in finance within a fast-moving e-commerce environment. The position is open to candidates who have cleared CA Intermediate and have 11–12 months of article training remaining under the new regime, or those with 1+ years of article training experience at a CA firm. As an Industrial Trainee / Finance Analyst Intern, you will work with FP&A teams to support high-quality financial reporting and data analysis that helps business leaders make decisions across different business areas.

What you will do

You will partner with finance teams to analyze data, prepare reporting, and contribute to decision support for multiple business lines. The work involves using financial and accounting knowledge to help identify business opportunities and strengthen planning and reporting processes.

Skills and tools needed

Candidates should be comfortable working with Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, and VBA. Exposure to TM1, data warehouse systems, and SQL is preferred. The role also calls for the ability to use data effectively to influence business decisions, along with an understanding of corporate finance practices such as budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting.
