Job Purpose

The Team Member - CT Operations role is focused on enabling safe and efficient container terminal activity. The position supports smooth execution of loading, unloading, and container movement processes while improving equipment usage, reducing delays, and ensuring alignment with operational plans and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift transitions effectively by receiving and passing on complete operational updates without delay.
• Inform the shift superintendent in case of equipment constraints or any likely shortage that may affect output.
• Assign RTGs across container yard zones to support better equipment deployment and container flow.
• Oversee truck and container loading/unloading activities to ensure accuracy and on-time completion.
• Coordinate container transfers between the container yard and rail operations, while maintaining correct wagon number records.
• Ensure loading and unloading follow the approved load and discharge plan and the right yard locations.
• Maintain strong compliance with safety standards and operating procedures to reduce risk and avoid incidents.
• Resolve operational issues promptly so terminal activities continue with minimal interruption.
• Promote digital adoption and keep pace with AI and technology developments to support competitiveness and innovation.

Requirements

• A graduation degree in any discipline is required.
• Applicants should have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Should be capable of working in a terminal operations environment with strong attention to coordination and compliance.
• Must be comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders such as the Incharge - CT Operations and cross-functional teams.
