Role Overview

TMZ is seeking an Executive Assistant to deliver day-to-day administrative and project support. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA and is designed for someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, comfortable juggling several priorities, and able to meet deadlines in a demanding media environment. The role supports an executive and helps coordinate activities connected to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the executive’s daily calendar, set up meetings, arrange appointments, and coordinate conference calls independently or as directed.
  • Handle incoming calls by answering, screening, routing, logging, and tracking messages as needed, while also preparing office correspondence.
  • Set up travel arrangements and compile detailed itineraries.
  • Prepare, complete, and submit expense reports.
  • Serve as a communication link between executives and internal or external teams and departments.
  • Assist with administrative needs during breaking news situations.
  • Take on additional related tasks and special projects when assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with managers, executives, the news desk, and other personnel at different levels.
  • Capable of preparing clear, concise reports and materials for senior management.

Compensation and Benefits

The advertised pay rate for this position is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on education, skills, experience, and location.
