About the Role
FedEx Australia is seeking dedicated Couriers to join their team at Melbourne Airport. This permanent full-time position involves the delivery and pick-up of consignments throughout the Melbourne Metropolitan area. Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually deliver packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload vehicles, involving manual handling of goods.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing FedEx positively.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company standards to ensure delivery quality.
Requirements
- Possess full work rights in Australia.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (maximum 6 demerits in the past 3 years).
- Must have an MR heavy vehicle license with at least 1 year of experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with 5-tonne driving experience.
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including drug and alcohol tests, driving assessments, criminal history checks, and fitness evaluations.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Maintain a safety-conscious approach and follow established procedures diligently.
- Exhibit a customer-friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
