Role overview
BCforward is hiring a highly organized Accessibility Program Coordinator to support a large-scale accessibility audit initiative within an enterprise SaaS environment. The work is coordination-centered and focuses on keeping audits moving, aligning vendors and internal teams, and ensuring accessibility compliance tasks are completed on schedule. This position does not include hands-on accessibility testing.
The assignment is remote, with EST working hours preferred. The anticipated start date is ASAP, though it may change, and official confirmation will be provided before the assignment begins. The expected duration is 6+ months, with strong potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role. This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, and the pay range is $40 to $42 per hour on W2.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate accessibility audits between third-party vendors and internal engineering teams.
- Keep project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and audit timelines on track.
- Monitor audit progress and help ensure Accessibility Conformance Reports are completed on time.
- Set up and support meetings, demos, and communication between product teams and external auditors.
- Organize audit records, statements of work, planning documents, and other project files.
- Enter audit findings into internal bug-tracking tools and follow remediation status.
- Maintain shared folders, communication channels, and project documentation.
- Answer internal and external questions related to accessibility compliance.
- Review and publish accessibility-related content to external websites.
- Look for ways to streamline audit coordination and improve operational efficiency.
- Use AI-enabled tools to automate reporting, documentation, follow-ups, communication, and workflow tasks.
- Work with cross-functional partners to support successful delivery of accessibility programs.
Required experience and qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, program coordination, compliance coordination, or a similar function.
- Background in a fast-moving, high-volume, matrixed organization.
- Experience managing vendor-facing projects and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Exposure to contracts, purchase agreements, or compliance documentation.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, ideally Salesforce products.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG and broader compliance programs.
- Direct or related experience coordinating accessibility audits, compliance reviews, or similar assessment work.
- Strong ability to organize multiple simultaneous priorities and deadlines.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred background
- Previous support for accessibility compliance efforts.
- Familiarity with Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs).
- Experience working with external audit vendors.
- Experience using AI tools to improve processes.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and bug-tracking systems.

Compensation and benefits
The role pays $40 to $42 per hour on W2. Employees may also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, and access to a 401(k) retirement plan.

This assignment offers a high chance of extension or conversion to a full-time position. The role is intended to be 40 hours per week. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Any offer would be at-will, regardless of the expected assignment length.
