About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic entry-level / associate software engineer to join the engineering team in building, testing, and improving software products. This role is suited to someone early in their career who is eager to develop technical depth while contributing to real projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation, testing, and release of software applications.
- Work with experienced engineers to identify, investigate, and fix issues.
- Take part in code reviews and adhere to sound development practices.
- Prepare documentation for technical designs, specs, and system workflows.
- Assist with integration work, debugging, and application performance improvements.
- Share input during discussions around system design and upcoming features.
- Keep building knowledge of new tools, languages, and engineering approaches.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
- Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# is needed.
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, and Git-based version control is expected.
- Understanding of software development basics and the SDLC is important.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are necessary.
- You should be comfortable collaborating in a team-based environment.
- A strong willingness to learn and progress in a fast-moving technology setting is essential.
Preferred Skills
- Practical exposure gained through internships or independent projects.
- Experience with web frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Django.
- Awareness of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methods.
