This role is for a sharp, imaginative, and execution-driven Social Media Manager who will work alongside strategists, designers, content creators, and performance marketers to support growth for D2C, retail, and consumer brands on Instagram and Facebook.

Role Overview
You will manage social channels for multiple brands with a strong focus on content planning, community growth, platform engagement, and performance improvement. The position combines creative direction, hands-on execution, audience interaction, and reporting.
Content and Community Management
- Handle the Instagram and Facebook presence for several brands.
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across feeds, reels, stories, and community formats.
- Reply to comments, direct messages, mentions, and other audience interactions in a timely manner.
- Develop and strengthen active online communities.
- Run engagement-focused initiatives such as contests, polls, challenges, and conversation prompts.
Content Strategy and Execution
- Work with strategists and designers to build content calendars.
- Generate content ideas aimed at improving reach, engagement, and brand recall.
- Keep up with trends, memes, platform changes, and relevant cultural moments.
- Spot opportunities for brands to join timely and relevant conversations.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Track core social media metrics such as reach, hook rate, hold rate, CTA rate, engagement rate, shares, saves, comments, follower growth, and community response rate.
- Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and action points.
- Identify high-performing content patterns and expand on what delivers results.
Influencer and UGC Coordination
- Coordinate collaborations with influencers and creators.
- Source, manage, and repurpose user-generated content.
- Support stronger audience relationships through authentic and relatable content.
What the Team Is Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of experience managing Instagram and Facebook accounts.
- Strong understanding of how modern consumer brands grow through content and community.
- Deep interest in social media trends and internet culture.
- Ability to balance creative thinking with consistent execution.
- Excellent communication and copywriting ability.
- Self-driven approach with the confidence to take ownership without constant supervision.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
Tools You May Use
Possible tools include Meta Business Suite, Instagram and Facebook Insights, Google Sheets, Canva, Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools, along with scheduling and reporting platforms.
