Role overview

This London-based opportunity is for an experienced planner with strong digital expertise and, ideally, a background in integrated planning. The role sits on a prominent client account within a leading London agency and calls for someone who can contribute to strategic planning work from insight through to campaign evaluation.

What the role involves

• Using research to shape planning thinking and to inform strong creative briefs.
• Supporting campaign tracking and reviewing performance after launch.
• Working on an existing client account and contributing to day-to-day planning activity.
• Helping build campaign ideas that take advantage of new media and digital channels.
• Joining the development of wider, cross-channel campaign plans and helping bring them together into a coherent whole.
• Balancing creativity and effectiveness in planning decisions so campaigns support business goals.
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and evolution of the planning team.

Skills and experience required

• Solid planning capability with practical experience across research, briefing, campaign measurement and evaluation.
• A clear understanding of how digital and new media channels can be used effectively.
• The ability to connect different channels into one coordinated campaign strategy.
• Comfort working with analytics, tracking outputs, audience segments and other standard planning statistics.
• Strong collaboration skills and a genuine willingness to work with people who bring different perspectives.
• Experience with social media monitoring would be an advantage.
• Personal blogging or other online publishing experience would be a plus, though it is not essential.
