Role Overview

Aramness Gir is hiring a Naturalist who is genuinely enthusiastic about wildlife and conservation, comfortable in luxury hospitality, and capable of creating memorable guest experiences in the Gir landscape. This position suits someone who understands natural history well, enjoys interpretation and guiding, and can build a long-term connection with the region.

What You Will Do

• Guide wildlife drives, nature walks, and interpretive outings for guests; the role calls for roughly 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Offer engaging explanations about the region’s plants, animals, ecology, and conservation value.
• Develop warm, personalized guest relationships across the full stay experience.
• Work in close coordination with operations, front office, food and beverage, and housekeeping teams so guest service feels seamless.
• Contribute to daily lodge operations whenever needed to help maintain high hospitality standards and guest satisfaction.
• Help design special activities, learning-focused programs, and conservation-oriented experiences.
• Represent Aramness Gir as a visible ambassador of the property’s values, including conservation, sustainability, and authentic hospitality.
• Uphold strong standards of safety, professionalism, and attentive guest care during all activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong personal interest in wildlife and conservation.
• Well-developed interpretation and guiding ability.
• Prior exposure to luxury hospitality or wildlife lodge environments.
• Sound familiarity with the Gir landscape and the ability to build a long-term association with the region.
• Capability to create meaningful, memorable experiences for guests.

The naturalist role at Aramness is more than a guiding position; it combines storytelling, education, hosting, and representation of one of India’s most iconic wilderness destinations. The person in this role is expected to play an active part in guest engagement as well as the everyday rhythm of lodge life.
