Kitchen Technician

Role Overview

YAEMCO LLC is hiring a Kitchen Technician in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a full-time, on-site position. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Duties

• Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on a broad range of kitchen and refrigeration equipment, including freezers, industrial steam cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, washers, ovens, dryers, dishwashers, water coolers, and coffee machines.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing of equipment.
• Install new equipment, fix leaks, adjust wiring controls, and replace worn-out or faulty parts.
• Respond promptly to emergency equipment breakdowns, including calls received after normal working hours.
• Handle any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Work shift schedules when needed.

Technical Knowledge Needed

The position calls for practical familiarity with different kitchen and refrigeration systems, as well as experience with kitchen duct cleaning and related procedures. The technician should be able to work independently, take ownership of assigned repairs, and apply sound judgment while resolving equipment issues.

Experience and Background

Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of experience in the FM industry, preferably within retail environments in the UAE. Previous repair and maintenance exposure in commercial kitchens or retail stores is preferred. A solid working understanding of plumbing repair and installation practices, along with basic electrical theory, safety, and hands-on application, is important.
