Role Overview
Synechron is hiring immediately for a KDB Developer to work in Singapore, with the role also based in Hong Kong. This position sits within a global technology consulting environment focused on digital transformation, data engineering, cloud, AI, and cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute expert-level application programming support while ensuring technical designs fit the broader architecture.
- Set and uphold standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation by applying strong system-operations knowledge.
- Work through complex business and technology challenges, including large projects and issues that require deep review of business workflows and industry practices.
- Perform thorough analysis to diagnose problems and develop practical, innovative fixes.
- Partner with management and cross-functional teams to connect different functions, identify system improvements, and support new products and process enhancements.
- Build a clear understanding of how architecture, infrastructure, and other business areas interact to meet organizational goals.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in application development or systems analysis.
- A strong history of delivering and managing successful projects.
- Solid experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Recognized expertise in at least one area of application development.
- Hands-on experience with the Q/KDB+ programming language.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working with Linux and shell scripting.
