Role overview
This position focuses on helping build and support the data foundation that powers reporting, analytics, and business intelligence. The role involves working on scalable data systems that make it easier to process, move, validate, and use data across the organization.
What you will do
- Contribute to the creation, upkeep, and tuning of data infrastructure that supports efficient data handling at scale.
- Develop and improve pipelines that gather data from different sources, transform it, check for accuracy, and combine it for downstream use.
- Help maintain databases, data warehouses, and cloud-based data tools used for both operational and analytical needs.
- Work with analysts, engineers, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver practical, reliable solutions.
- Track data workflows, investigate issues, automate repetitive tasks, and keep technical documentation current.
- Support ongoing improvements in data architecture, system performance, security, and governance.
- Assist with data integration efforts so that data systems stay dependable, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
What we are looking for
Candidates should have a strong analytical mindset, solid problem-solving ability, and a careful eye for detail. Working knowledge of SQL, database concepts, data structures, and data processing is important. Exposure to Python or similar scripting/programming languages, cloud environments, and data integration tools will be helpful. Familiarity with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data modeling, data governance, and database optimization is a plus. Good communication, collaboration, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, data-focused environment are also valued.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Additional information
This role is best suited to someone who can handle multiple priorities, learn new technologies quickly, and contribute effectively in a collaborative setting. Experience with cloud data platforms, workflow orchestration, data visualization, and automation tools is considered beneficial.
