Role Overview

Experience
Applicants should have 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and improve data transformation workflows using DBT.
- Create well-structured, reusable, and scalable data models across staging, intermediate, and mart layers.
- Author efficient SQL for transformation logic and performance optimization.
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to convert business needs into data models.
- Use DBT capabilities for testing, validation, and documentation.
- Handle incremental models, snapshots, and version control practices for data pipelines.
- Maintain strong data quality, consistency, and governance throughout the workflow.
- Improve query execution and shorten processing times for large datasets.
- Connect DBT processes with cloud warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and similar systems.
- Track pipeline runs, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation while adhering to governance standards.
Technical Requirements
- Practical, hands-on expertise in DBT.
- Strong command of SQL, including joins, complex logic, and query tuning.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts such as star and snowflake schemas.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
- Experience with ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation approaches.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools.
- Basic Python knowledge is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Understanding of data modeling and orchestration of data pipelines.
Eligibility
Candidates must have completed 15 years of full-time education and should meet the required experience range of 5 to 10 years.
