Role overview
This position sits within the Taste Vendor Quality function and focuses on maintaining supplier and ingredient master data that supports quality programs and operational processes. The job centers on keeping data accurate, coordinating with vendors, and managing the distribution, monitoring, and follow-up of daily work activities. It calls for a detail-focused professional who is highly organized, comfortable working in a global setup, and able to improve process efficiency and standardization.

Impact of the role
- Keep supplier and ingredient master data accurate and efficient to support key corporate quality initiatives.
- Help strengthen vendor quality and risk management practices across global operations.
- Contribute to standardizing processes, improving data governance, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- Work with cross-functional and global teams to improve data quality, operational effectiveness, and compliance.
- Support dependable business decisions through reliable data handling and reporting.
Requirements
The role is intended for someone with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large, complex datasets without losing accuracy. You should be experienced with SAP Quality Module and related business systems, and have a solid understanding of quality systems, supplier documents, and ingredient data management. Success in this role also depends on strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder handling, and the ability to stay organized while managing several priorities in a fast-moving, globally connected environment. A self-driven, goal-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement is important.
Preferred strengths
- Experience in vendor quality, regulatory compliance, or ingredient risk management programs.
- Advanced reporting and analysis skills in Power BI and Excel.
- Exposure to global master data governance or process harmonization initiatives.
- Experience supporting automation, simplification, or process-improvement work.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and solve business challenges proactively.
Work location and environment
The position is based in Chennai, Guindy, India and follows a hybrid work model.
