Opportunity Overview
Programmed is looking for Utility All-Rounders to join its mining camp workforce at Capricorn Copper Mine in Gunpowder, Far North Queensland. This role supports essential soft services across the village and mine-site facilities.
Role Details
This is a full-time FIFO position on a 2:2 roster, based in Gunpowder, Far North Queensland.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining grounds and recreation spaces
- Cleaning across the mine site
- Keeping accommodation areas clean and tidy
- Supporting catering operations
- Assisting with retail service tasks
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be well organised, comfortable juggling multiple duties, and strongly aware of hygiene and food safety standards. You should also bring a professional attitude, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality work.
- Prior experience in remote mining camp environments
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- RSA certification
- Food Handler certificate
- Current and satisfactory National Police Check
- Strong customer service skills
- Commitment to personal and team safety
