Role overview

The Style Associate is the customer-facing representative of the brand at the retail store. This position focuses on creating a strong shopping experience, supporting sales growth, and helping the store run efficiently through attentive service, product knowledge, and teamwork.

Reporting structure

This role sits within the Retail Stores department and reports to the Store Manager.

Core responsibilities

• Learn each customer’s preferences and requirements so the right jewellery options can be suggested.
• Respond to customer questions in a clear and helpful manner, and pass on more complex concerns when needed.
• Build a strong understanding of product ranges, including their features, benefits, and how they compare in the market.
• Explain the value of products in a persuasive and customer-friendly way.
• Help the store meet its sales and target goals.
• Keep up to date with new collections and ongoing promotions.
• Adjust smoothly to changing shift schedules and store needs.
• Be willing to move within the cluster area if business requirements call for it.
• Arrive on time and take on extra duties when required.
• Support the Senior Style Associate with receiving deliveries, handling online orders, and packing items.
• Assist with replenishing stock and arranging visual merchandising displays.
• Keep the store neat, attractive, welcoming, and aligned with cleanliness standards.
• Help prevent theft by staying alert and following security procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, store processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Work closely with teammates to keep daily store operations running smoothly.
• Contribute positively as part of a cooperative and results-oriented team.
• Handle customer concerns with care, tact, and awareness.
• Use practical judgment in difficult situations while protecting brand standards.

Candidate requirements

• Applicants should be graduates, HSC pass freshers, or SSC qualified candidates with 2 years of retail experience.
• Candidates must be older than 18 years and younger than 28 years.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• The role calls for a quick learner with a positive, energetic attitude.
• Applicants should maintain high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings, is required.
