This position will lead strategic work across COREP, FINREP, compliance, and operational transformation, while managing end-to-end delivery, working with senior leaders, and driving change through disciplined governance and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the full lifecycle of projects and programs related to trade lifecycle, regulatory reporting, and compliance transformation.Set project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in line with business priorities.Monitor execution through formal governance structures and keep delivery on track.Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.Drive and support initiatives connected to COREP, FINREP, and other regulatory obligations.Ensure reports are submitted on time and in compliance with regulatory standards.Coordinate among regulatory, finance, and technology teams to support accurate data aggregation and reporting.Lead work spanning the full trade lifecycle, from front office through back office operations.Improve data quality, accuracy, and reconciliation outcomes.Partner with operations, IT, and risk teams to resolve data issues.Serve as a primary contact for senior stakeholders including Directors, Managing Directors, and business heads.Run steering committee and Target Operating Model committee meetings.Prepare executive presentations with clear insights and practical recommendations.Set up and manage project governance frameworks.Deliver weekly and monthly status updates, dashboards, and KPI tracking.Keep stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and issues with full transparency.Manage project backlogs and workflows using Jira or comparable tools.Build and maintain project dashboards and performance metrics.Work within Agile or Waterfall delivery methods as appropriate.RequirementsStrong knowledge of trade lifecycle activities and front-to-back banking operations.Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting, especially COREP and FINREP.Understanding of banking data flows and reconciliation processes.Demonstrated project management and delivery experience.Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.Experience leading steering committee and governance forums.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Practical experience using Jira, which is mandatory for the role.Ability to work with dashboards and reporting tools such as Excel; Power BI exposure is an added advantage.Familiarity with data analysis and reporting frameworks.Strong capability in RAID log management, risk mitigation, and dependency tracking.Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.Experience in global banking or financial services is preferred.Exposure to regulatory change programs is preferred.PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum certifications are desirable.Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced regulatory environments.Additional InformationThe role is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time, on-site position.
