Role Overview

This role focuses on configuring and deploying payroll modules for enterprise customers across India, Southeast Asia, and the MENA region. The aim is to deliver payroll systems that are correctly set up, compliant, tested, enhanced where needed, and supported through go-live and critical payroll cycles.

Location: Hyderabad, India

Experience: 4 to 8 years

Core Responsibilities

  • Set up the payroll module in line with each client’s business rules, pay structures, and statutory obligations
  • Manage the complete payroll implementation journey from discovery and requirement collection to deployment at the client site
  • Perform functional testing and work with the product team to build and refine module enhancements
  • Investigate payroll-related client issues, identify the underlying cause, apply fixes, and verify that the issue has been resolved
  • Assist clients during important payroll activities such as appraisals, increments, and annual compensation revisions
  • Partner with internal implementation and development teams to keep go-live timelines on track

Skills and Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with global payroll configuration and processing
  • Strong understanding of statutory and compliance requirements
  • Experience in payroll system implementation
  • Exposure to payroll processing across multiple countries
  • Ability to support clients directly and resolve payroll queries
  • Working knowledge of payroll module setup and configuration
  • Advanced Excel skills for formulas and data handling are an advantage
  • MBA in Business, Accounting, or Finance is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
