Stellenbeschreibung
About the Company
Feynlab is an international surface-protection technology company based in Chicago, USA, with a footprint across several countries. Using advanced nanotechnology, it develops solutions for the automotive, industrial, marine, and architectural sectors. The company focuses on technically strong, outcome-oriented products supported by high service standards, continuous improvement, and long-term partnerships.
Role Summary
The Junior Web Developer will help build, maintain, and improve Feynlab’s websites and internal web tools while reporting to the Web Developer & IT Support Lead. This is a practical, hands-on position with meaningful responsibility from the beginning. The company is looking for someone who learns quickly, works independently, takes initiative, and can handle work across different functions in a fast-paced international environment.
This is a small team with a strong sense of accountability. Success is measured not only by completing tasks, but by understanding them, documenting what was done, and surfacing issues early. Problem-solving and independent judgment are considered just as important as technical ability.
Compensation
The salary for this position is up to AED 6,000 per month. Candidates whose salary expectations are above this range are asked not to apply.
Website Development and Maintenance
- Create and revise web pages, landing pages, website features, and plugins as assigned.
- Support the upkeep and enhancement of Feynlab’s websites across all regions.
- Identify and fix bugs, broken links, and performance-related problems.
- Keep all sites functional, current, and aligned with the brand.
- Check web builds on different browsers and devices to confirm responsiveness and compatibility.
Marketing Web Support
- Assist the marketing team with technical web work, including landing pages, product pages, and campaign pages.
- Help implement tracking tools and campaign-related assets when directed.
- Make sure pages are fast, responsive, and work consistently across browsers.
- Highlight any issues that could affect campaign performance or page quality.
Internal Web Application Support
- Assist with testing, maintenance, and improvement of Feynlab’s internal web-based tools.
- Document bugs clearly, including steps needed to reproduce them.
- Help with feature enhancements and user-interface improvements as assigned.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools where suitable to support development work.
IT Support
- Provide first-level IT help to employees across all locations, as directed.
- Support troubleshooting for hardware, software, email, and general office technology.
- Help with IT onboarding for new hires, including account setup, device preparation, and software access.
- Keep IT asset logs and user access records accurate and up to date.
- Escalate more complex or unresolved issues to the Senior Developer without delay.
Documentation
- Record completed work, recurring issues, and solutions clearly and promptly.
- Contribute to technical and IT documentation in Feynbase, the company’s internal knowledge hub.
- Follow the documentation format and standards set by the Senior Developer.
- Share fixes and learnings so the team does not need to solve the same issue repeatedly.
Website Compliance
- Help maintain website compliance across all markets.
- Raise any compliance concerns discovered during testing or maintenance.
Professional Growth
- Take responsibility for learning and staying current with relevant web technologies.
- Complete training or certifications agreed with the manager.
- Act on feedback and use it to improve performance.
What Success Looks Like
- Work is completed accurately, on time, and with little rework.
- Problems are identified proactively instead of being left unresolved.
- Issues are fixed, documented, and communicated to others.
- IT support requests are handled efficiently so employees can continue working.
- Documentation remains useful, current, and easy for others to follow.
- The Senior Developer can delegate tasks with confidence.
- Responsibility grows over time as you become more independent.
Independence and Accountability
Feynlab values people who take ownership. That means fixing issues when you spot them, documenting the resolution, and sharing it with the team. If you get stuck, you are expected to try first and then ask for help with context on what you have already attempted. If something is unclear, raise the question early rather than after it becomes a problem. If you see a better approach, speak up.
This is not a role where you wait for instructions at every step. Initiative is expected and appreciated.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a similar discipline is preferred. For UAE visa and work-permit processing, an attested degree may be required under MOHRE guidelines.
Skills and Experience
Required experience and capabilities include practical front-end knowledge, solid WordPress expertise, and the ability to solve website issues independently. The role also calls for a working understanding of hosting and deployment, comfort with browser developer tools, strong accuracy, and clear written communication in English.
Preferred exposure includes analytics and tag management tools, additional CMS platforms, back-end languages or frameworks, version control, AI coding tools, internal business systems, web compliance topics, and IT support work.
Why Join Feynlab
This opportunity offers growth in a fast-moving international company where responsibility increases as the business expands. You will work directly with experienced senior leadership and have the chance to contribute meaningfully from day one. The culture is built around initiative, accountability, and professional development. Visa, labour card, and health insurance are provided, along with competitive compensation.
Additional Information
This role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is onsite. Candidates are expected to meet the stated salary range before applying.
