Junior Freelance User Interface Designer

Role overview

This is a part-time, fully remote opportunity to support a team building digital solutions for continuing medical education. The work focuses on creating clear, engaging user interfaces and smooth experiences for web-based products used by healthcare professionals. You will help improve the usability and visual quality of tools that support learning and day-to-day practice in the medical field.

What you will do

• Design user interfaces and end-to-end experiences for web-based products aimed at healthcare professionals.
• Build wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished mockups in Figma.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to make sure the designs are practical and aligned with project objectives.
• Carry out user research and usability testing to guide design choices.
• Refine designs using feedback and usage data to improve engagement and overall satisfaction.

Requirements

• Hands-on background in UI/UX design, ideally for web applications.
• Strong working knowledge of Figma and other design tools used in the process.
• A portfolio that clearly shows UI and UX design capability.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, part-time setup.
• Good communication skills and a careful eye for detail.
• Experience with healthcare or learning-focused products will be considered an advantage.
• Understanding of user research and usability testing approaches.
