Role Overview
As a Junior Designer, you will support the development of original jewelry concepts and help translate ideas into finished design work. You will work closely with the design team and contribute through sketching, creating 3D visuals, preparing documentation, and assisting with production-related tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
Key Duties
- Develop and refine jewelry concepts alongside the design team.
- Produce hand sketches and digital design drafts to communicate ideas clearly.
- Create 3D renderings and other visual assets for design presentations.
- Keep design records, files, and related documentation organized and up to date.
- Provide support during production to help ensure designs move smoothly from concept to execution.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD for visual development and 3D rendering.
- Creative ability with strong sketching skills and an aptitude for visual storytelling.
- A strong sense of detail and aesthetics to support the creation of polished, original jewelry designs.
- Comfortable working collaboratively, receiving feedback, and following creative direction.
- Well-developed organization and time management skills to juggle multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Prior exposure to jewelry design or a similar creative field is considered an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline is preferred.
