Role overviewThis position is for an Aerospace and Defense Consulting professional based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with responsibility across PAN India engagements. The role focuses on helping clients in the aerospace and defense space accelerate digital transformation, improve supply chain performance, and modernize core manufacturing operations.What you will doContribute to business development efforts by supporting or leading project bids, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions to clients focused on digital transformation.Build pipeline opportunities and support the delivery of major transformation initiatives in supply chain and manufacturing operations, with coverage across strategy, process improvement, AI, analytics, and supply chain solutions.Act as a delivery lead or subject matter expert for client billable work, while also helping develop thought leadership and new service offerings through internal Capgemini Invent communities.Monitor market dynamics and emerging industry developments, and translate them into strategic insights relevant to client businesses.Participate in solution shaping, project definition, and pilot initiatives.Experience and backgroundThe role calls for 5 to 14 years of experience in the manufacturing or aerospace sector. Consulting exposure of 3 to 4 years is considered an advantage. Candidates should bring strong knowledge of the full value chain, including planning, design and engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and after-sales.Applicants should also have hands-on experience in developing future digital strategies and Industry 4.0 roadmaps for digital supply chains. The position requires strong client and account management skills, including experience handling mid-to-large deals and overseeing project delivery.Additional experience should include leading complex programs in distributed supply chain environments, using technology to improve process efficiency across the supply chain, and managing operating model change across people, process, technology, organizational transition, and operational support.LocationBengaluru, Karnataka, India; role coverage across PAN India.
