Senior Software Engineer

Overview

This is a senior backend engineering opportunity for a client represented by Hiringeye Solutions. The role is based in Bengaluru and focuses on building scalable services, integrating machine learning capabilities, and supporting reliable production systems.

What you will do

• Design, build, and support high-scale backend systems in Go or Python.
• Create and improve REST APIs and microservices for robust application delivery.
• Embed AI/ML models into backend workflows for real-time and batch inference use cases.
• Partner with data science and machine learning teams to release and observe model performance in production.
• Work across SQL and NoSQL databases to create efficient and dependable data storage designs.
• Improve application speed, scalability, and overall system stability.
• Apply strong security practices, including authentication and authorization controls.
• Write unit and integration tests and help maintain CI/CD workflows.
• Deploy and operate services on cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical problem-solving, and architecture planning.

What we are looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in backend engineering.
• Strong hands-on programming ability in Go or Python.
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, Go Fiber, or Gin.
• Comfort with REST API design, microservices patterns, and asynchronous programming.
• Practical exposure to integrating AI/ML models using tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, or OpenAI APIs.
• Added advantage if you have worked with vector databases, embeddings, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and NoSQL systems like MongoDB or Redis.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile ways of working.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
