Product Manager

Role overviewSumo Logic is looking for a Product Manager to help shape the direction of its Security Operations platform. In this role, you will guide the strategy and delivery for Threat Detection and Response while defining how AI can strengthen SecOps workflows. You will work closely with engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing to turn complex security challenges into easy-to-use solutions that help teams spot threats sooner, investigate with more confidence, and act quickly. The position is designed for someone who wants to influence products that help enterprises stay ahead of changing cyber threats and create strong business outcomes for customers.What you will doSet the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for an outstanding user experience and new Threat Detection and Response capabilities that improve engagement and satisfaction across the platform.Work with customers and internal stakeholders to collect, study, and translate feedback, use cases, and product needs into clear priorities.Keep a detailed roadmap informed by data insights and market comparison so feature decisions are well-ordered and effective.Partner with cross-functional teams to define platform needs that improve the user experience and dashboard features.Act as the customer’s advocate with engineering leaders and executives so user needs remain central to product decisions.Collaborate with engineering to make dashboarding solutions dependable, scalable, and high performing, while making trade-offs and prioritization calls when needed.Support go-to-market planning by working with product marketing and sales to clearly position the value of the user experience and dashboarding capabilities.Create sales enablement assets such as whitepapers, blog posts, presentations, and product demos that highlight dashboarding features.What the company is looking forAt least 3 years of product management experience, ideally in cybersecurity, with a strong record of delivery and execution.Solid knowledge of security operations tools and concepts, including SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and threat intelligence.Background in B2B SaaS products and comfort working through complex decision-making environments.Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience engaging both customers and cross-functional teams.A data-oriented approach to product work, using analytics to guide prioritization and decisions.A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA is an added advantage.Why this role stands outYou will contribute to one of the industry’s largest-scale data challenges.
