MUMPS Developer - RPMS Data Extraction

Role Overview

EHR EVOLUTION INC. is looking for an experienced MUMPS developer with strong RPMS knowledge to support a long-term remote engagement focused on pulling data from the RPMS database into SQL.

Core Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on expertise in MUMPS, including direct work with RPMS.
• Proven ability to build and maintain ETL pipelines for healthcare data environments.
• Working knowledge of healthcare data formats and standards such as HL7, ICD, and CPT.
• Solid understanding of database administration, tuning, and data modeling in MUMPS-based systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for transforming and integrating data accurately.
• Clear communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teammates and stakeholders.

Preferred Background

• Prior exposure to federal or tribal healthcare settings.
• Experience with related healthcare platforms such as VistA or other EHR systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL and additional data tools that support MUMPS and ETL tasks.
• Comfort working in Linux or Unix environments.
• Experience operating in agile development teams.
