Junior Data Analyst

Overview

This role is for an entry-level data enthusiast who enjoys working with numbers, spotting trends, and turning raw information into practical business insight. The position is well suited to someone beginning a career in analytics and looking to build hands-on experience with real datasets and business reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Gather information from different sources, then clean, check, and organize it to keep the data accurate and consistent.
• Create reports, dashboards, and charts that clearly show business performance and important trends.
• Look for patterns and useful findings that can help with day-to-day operations and broader decision-making.
• Prepare analysis summaries, presentations, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
• Work with teams across the business to understand their needs and provide analytical support.
• Keep databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools updated while maintaining strong data quality.
• Handle one-off analysis requests, research tasks, and process improvement work when needed.
• Keep improving analytical knowledge by learning new tools, techniques, and best practices.

What the role calls for

• Strong ability to analyze information, think critically, and solve problems effectively.
• Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable reporting and visualization tools.
