Mayday Internet is a Kerala-based web development agency that specializes in Shopify projects. The team creates fast, search-friendly eCommerce websites for Indian and global brands, with a clear emphasis on organic visibility, site speed, and stronger conversion outcomes.

Role Summary

This position is for an SEO professional who can drive growth for eCommerce stores. The main focus will be improving search rankings, increasing qualified traffic, and helping Shopify businesses convert more visitors into customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

Research keywords with a strong commercial and purchase-driven intent.
Improve SEO across product, collection, and content pages.
Manage on-page optimization, including metadata, schema markup, and internal linking.
Develop and implement content plans aimed at growing organic traffic.
Track website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Collaborate with the development and design teams to strengthen technical SEO.

What We’re Looking For

Hands-on experience in eCommerce SEO, ideally for Shopify stores.
Good command of both on-page and technical SEO practices.
Comfort using SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and Semrush.
Ability to evaluate SEO work in terms of traffic, conversion, and revenue impact.

Nice to Have

Exposure to international SEO projects.
Basic knowledge of conversion rate optimization.

Location

This role is remote, with preference for candidates based in Kerala.
