Role overview

As an AI & Analytics Engineer, you will work where data engineering, analytics, and AI meet. The role goes beyond creating pipelines and dashboards: you will help design and deliver intelligent, agentic solutions that generate measurable business outcomes for clients.

You will turn raw data into reliable insights, identify patterns that are easy to overlook, and translate business challenges into practical technical solutions. The position suits someone who is comfortable both shaping analytics outputs and experimenting with AI-driven workflows.

In the first months, you will receive support from experienced colleagues to build a solid foundation across the modern data stack and agentic AI tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a range of data technologies and build a strong understanding of what is possible across the modern data landscape.
  • Partner with domain experts to solve data-related problems across different industries.
  • Develop advanced reporting and visualisation outputs for clients.
  • Apply data modelling approaches and help strengthen client data platforms.
  • Use AI tools, including agentic workflows and AI coding assistants, to speed up and improve analytics work.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong professional fluency in both German and English at C2 level or native level.
  • Basic understanding of data modelling approaches such as Data Vault or Kimball dimensional modelling, as well as data warehousing concepts.
  • Professional exposure to AI tools, preferably including AI coding assistants and agentic analytics workflows.
  • Optional: experience with one or more programming languages, with Python preferred.
  • Optional: experience managing stakeholders or clients.
  • For this mid-level role, previous analytics experience is expected together with curiosity, structure, and the ability to turn numbers into business insight.

Working model and environment

The office is located in Berlin, near Nordbahnhof. Team size is currently 18 people and is expected to grow to 24 in 2026. The role is based onsite, with an office presence of two to five days per week and flexibility around workations.
