Role Overview
This is an hourly contract opportunity for a vocational training specialist to help design realistic training environments and structured workflow tasks for AI evaluation. The work is remote, part-time, and project-based, with the possibility of continuing engagement.
Compensation
The pay range for this assignment is $40 to $55 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct digital workspaces that closely mirror vocational education and workforce training settings.
- Develop multi-step task flows that cover curriculum delivery, assessment, and training operations.
- Build scenarios around apprenticeships, credentials, and competency-based evaluation.
- Work with subject matter experts to keep the tasks practical, accurate, and aligned with real industry processes.
- Define assessment standards for measuring AI performance in workforce training situations.
- Support benchmarking efforts and help improve AI systems used in vocational training contexts.
Requirements
- Substantial background in vocational education, workforce development, or technical instruction.
- Hands-on experience with curriculum development, apprenticeship models, or credentialing frameworks.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Google Classroom, Google Forms, or SharePoint.
- Clear understanding of competency-based evaluation and training operations.
- Strong ability to analyze workflows and convert them into structured task formats.
- Excellent writing skills and careful attention to detail.
- Experience in corporate learning or community college environments is considered an advantage.
