Job description
Your Mission
- Deliver top-quality software products that satisfy both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop scalable and user-friendly Java applications.
- Produce thorough documentation for your projects.
- Adhere to excellent coding standards, development policies, and procedures including continuous integration and deployment.
Candidate Profile
- Possess over five years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Experienced in handling software development projects and familiar with delivery methodologies.
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles with Java.
- Proficient in using the Spring Framework.
- Skilled in database persistence using JDBC and well-versed in relational database systems.
- Knowledgeable about web services such as SOAP and REST, experienced in microservices development and implementing unit tests.
- Solid understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns including the ability to interpret architectural diagrams.
- Excellent command over Git for version control.
- Fluent in both German and English to collaborate within an international team.
- Preferably has experience in virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, working across multiple locations.
