Role Overview

Blackstraw Technologies is hiring a Senior Predictive Analytics professional for its Data Science team in Pune. This role is suited to an immediate joiner who can work on forecasting demand for IT services and turn data into business-ready insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve predictive models that use machine learning methods to estimate demand for IT services.
• Work closely with teams across the business to understand needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Create, apply, and assess advanced statistical models that support measurable business results.
• Share forecast findings, accuracy trends, and improvement suggestions with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4.5 to 15 years of hands-on experience in predictive modeling or a closely related discipline such as statistics or economics.
• Strong command of machine learning approaches, including regression, classification, and clustering.
• Solid programming skills in Python, along with practical use of libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas.
• Experience in time series analysis and deep learning frameworks.

Eligibility

Candidates holding a B.C.A. in Computer Applications (General) or a B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization are eligible to apply.
