DESCRIPTION:

Role Overview India Nippon Electricals Limited is looking for a Purchase Officer to handle the sourcing and procurement of materials and services needed for day-to-day operations. The role focuses on finding suitable vendors, finalizing commercial terms, and making sure goods arrive on time without compromising quality. You will also coordinate with different internal teams to keep procurement aligned with business needs and supply chain flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Review buying needs and convert them into practical procurement plans.
• Shortlist and assess suppliers by comparing quality, cost, and delivery capability.
• Discuss and close contracts and pricing terms with vendors.
• Keep supplier and product records accurate and up to date.
• Track inventory and raise purchase orders before shortages affect operations.
• Work with internal stakeholders to anticipate future purchasing demand.
• Evaluate supplier service levels and take action when issues arise.
