Junior Data Analyst

Role Overview

This is a part-time remote opportunity for an entry-level Junior Data Analyst with Reclutamiento Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres. The position is aimed at someone who wants to build practical experience in analytics while supporting business decisions with accurate, well-organized data.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will help handle data from multiple sources by collecting, cleaning, and arranging it so it remains reliable and consistent. You will also contribute to basic analysis, prepare reports and visual charts, and assist in understanding trends and patterns that can inform day-to-day operations. In addition, you will work with teammates to clarify data requirements, record processes and findings, and support the upkeep of dashboards and simple analytical models under guidance.

Qualifications

• You should have strong analytical thinking to spot patterns in data and support decisions based on evidence.
• Some grounding in data analytics is needed, including cleaning data, running simple queries, and creating basic reports or dashboards.
• A basic grasp of statistics, such as descriptive measures and introductory inferential ideas, will help you succeed in the work.
• You must be able to communicate clearly, share results with others, collaborate with the team, and document work accurately.
• Introductory exposure to data modeling and an interest in learning how to build and maintain simple data structures are important.
• Familiarity with everyday tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or entry-level BI tools or SQL is preferred.
• You should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing your time well, and following established instructions.
• Coursework or training in data analytics, statistics, computer science, business, or a similar area is considered a plus.
