About the Company
Himalayan Dog Chew LLC, based in the pet products space, began in 2003 when two brothers and a friend, along with his dog Kaos, found that Kaos enjoyed a traditional cheese product called churpi. Over the following four years, the team reworked the recipe so it would be lactose-free and suitable for dogs. In 2007, the company introduced its dog chew at a pet fair in Bellingham, Washington, and helped reshape the category. By 2016, the business had expanded beyond a single product into a broader pet supply brand offering treats, toys, and gear. The company aims to be a highly trusted name in the pet industry and outfit an entire pack of pets.
