Role Summary
This role focuses on construction quality management for major project execution. The engineer will help establish and maintain robust quality systems, support site implementation, and coordinate across design, procurement, and project teams to ensure work is delivered in line with defined standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply ISO 9001:2015 knowledge to build and maintain effective systems and processes.
- Investigate issues using root-cause methods and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Define testing needs for project packages and ensure those requirements are clearly documented.
- Develop, review, and update quality assurance plans as project needs evolve.
- Prepare method statements and inspection and test plans for assigned works.
- Independently review site activities and support implementation of the quality assurance plan on the ground.
- Work closely with design, procurement, and other project stakeholders to resolve quality-related inputs.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Store and manage project documentation in REIMS.
- Provide technical inputs, reports, and clarifications to all relevant departments involved in the project.
Education Requirement
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
- Postgraduate qualification from NICMAR is preferred.
- ISO 9001 certification is considered an added advantage.
Experience Requirement
Candidates should have 6 to 20 years of experience, preferably on large projects involving high-rise structures and finishing works. Overseas experience is an advantage.
