About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and investigate new US Government IT service contracting opportunities across various federal markets.
  • Track numerous government solicitations including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, Sources Sought, IFBs, and ITBs.
  • Utilize platforms such as SAM.gov, GovWin, USASpending, FPDS, and state procurement portals for research.
  • Analyze solicitations thoroughly, including RFPs, RFQs, Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), evaluation criteria, and submission protocols.
  • Prepare detailed opportunity summaries, capture reports, inputs for bid/no-bid decisions, and pipeline updates.
  • Conduct competitor and incumbent analysis, contract history reviews, agency evaluations, and contract vehicle assessments.
  • Identify potential teaming partners, subcontractors, and strategic alliances.
  • Support Capture Managers and Business Development teams in formulating capture strategies and pursuit plans.
  • Monitor solicitation timelines, amendments, Q&A sessions, deadlines, and award schedules.
  • Maintain and update the company’s government opportunity pipeline and capture database.
  • Develop competitive intelligence and market research documentation for strategic management decisions.
  • Assist proposal teams with requirements analysis, compliance matrix creation, and proposal contributions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Capture, Proposal, Technical, and Delivery departments to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Keep abreast of upcoming government procurement activities and relay early intelligence on potential opportunities.
  • Assist in creating presentations, dashboards, and reports linked to the government opportunity pipeline.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in Capture, Proposal Management, Bid Management, Business Development, or Government Contracting roles.
  • Proven experience working with US Government contracting opportunities.
  • Preferred familiarity with federal procurement processes.
  • Strong knowledge of US Government procurement procedures including RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.
  • Ability to research and analyze government solicitations effectively.
  • Excellent skills in research, analysis, organization, and documentation.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with federal contracting portals such as SAM.gov, GovWin, USA Spending, FPDS, and state procurement sites.
  • Background in IT services or IT consulting proposal support.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement mechanisms such as IDIQ, GWAC, BPA, MAC, state master contracts, and task orders.
  • Competencies in incumbent and competitor research.
  • Experience contributing to proposal writing, compliance matrices, and development processes.
  • Exposure to working alongside US-based capture, proposal, sales, or business development teams.

Additional Information

Shift Timings: US hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST (6 PM to 3 AM IST).

Location: Gurugram, Haryana (Remote work option available).
