Role Summary
The Area Manager will help ensure waste collection and cleaning services run safely, efficiently, and reliably across the assigned areas. The position calls for a proactive professional who can coordinate operations, support supervisory teams, and uphold service quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Track daily waste collection and related cleaning activities, while handling customer concerns and questions together with supervisors.
- Coordinate, supervise, and review the work of staff involved in waste collection and cleaning operations.
- Keep professional knowledge up to date through workshops and industry publications.
- Support team objectives by contributing to related operational outcomes as required.
- Assist in shaping the organization’s goals and operational priorities.
- Provide support to the Section Supervisor and Inspectors as needed.
- Prepare monthly reports and other required correspondence.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in line with HSSE standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration and bring at least 5 years of relevant waste collection experience, including supervisory leadership responsibilities.
Skills and Knowledge
The role requires strong bilingual communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, along with a valid driving license. The candidate should understand waste collection equipment, operating procedures, routes, and BEEAH policies. The job also calls for the ability to coordinate multiple operational elements, respond effectively to unexpected situations such as severe weather, equipment failure, and environmental spills, and analyze problems to reach sound conclusions. A good grasp of the company structure, market environment, environmental issues, and waste management methods is essential.
